Q1. What Made You Decide To Establish Your Own Brand? What Is Meaning Of Brand Name?
ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
Since my mother was a carver, I grew up in an environment close to 'making jewelry'. I was interested in it, but I majored in glass at the art university, and after graduation, I worked as a vmd at an apparel brand, and started making jewelry that i wanted to wear.
After receiving an order for a wedding ring from a friend, I started receiving orders from other friends and people who saw sns, and gradually my desire for 'manufacturing' became stronger.
I learned about different materials and displays for 'to sell something', and I thought that it was time to start this brand with a passion for production.
As for the name, I named it good morning jewelry because I wanted to give a name related to me who was born in the morning to the work which is also my own self.
母が彫金をしていたこともあり、『ジュエリーを作ること』が身近な環境で育ちました。
興味はあったものの美大ではガラス科を専攻、卒業後はアパレルブランドでVMDとして働きながら、最初は自分がつけたいジュエリーを作ることを目的に制作を始めました。
友人から結婚指輪のオーダーをもらったことをきっかけに、別の友人やSNSを見た方からオーダーをいただける様になり、徐々に自分の中で『ものづくり』への思いが強くなっていきました。
異素材に触れ、『ものを売る』ためのディスプレイを学び、制作への思いに溢れる今が立ち上げ時と思い、ブランドを設立しました。
名前については自分の分身でもある作品に、朝産まれの私にまつわる名前をつけたいと思い、Good Morning Jewelryと名付けました。
Q2. Please Describe Your Production Process.
商品はどのような工程を経て出来上がるのでしょうか？
Sometimes I draw the shape I have in mind on a piece of paper before proceeding, and sometimes I make a prototype like doing an esquith directly with wax. I like the texture after casting, so I leave it as it is, polish it until it becomes a mirror surface depending on the item, and I don't imagine the final shape, but make the shape by deciding on the spot.
思いついた形を紙に描いてから進めることもあれば、直接Waxでエスキースをする様に原型を作ることもあります。
鋳造上がりの素材感も好きなのでそのまま残したり、物によっては鏡面になるまで磨いたり、最終形をイメージしながらというよりその場その場でジャッジしながら作っています。
Q3. What Made You Interested In NY Market?
ニューヨーク市場に興味を持った理由は何ですか？
I was interested to hear from ACJ that New Yorkers like or dislike things more than they are famous or unknown, and that they seem to place more importance on intuition when shopping.
ニューヨーカーは有名無名よりも好きか嫌いか、直感を大切に買い物をしている様に感じるというACJさんのお話を聞いて興味を持ちました。
Q4.Which One Is Your Favorite Piece? And Why?
イチオシはどの商品ですか？又その理由は？

It takes a piece in quadruple time and shapes the trajectory of the conductor's tact.
モチーフがユニークなFour Beats Earrings です。4拍子の曲にのせ、指揮者がタクトを振る軌跡を形にしました。
