Q1. What Made You Decide To Establish Your Own Brand? What Is Meaning Of Brand Name?
ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
I have always been involved in creation based on my desire to wear something different from others and my obsession with color, leading me to establish the brand when I found a satisfying way of expressing myself.
I started the brand with the hope that people would find it interesting and surprising that stylish, three-dimensional accessories are actually made from flat ribbons with a cute image, and that people would enjoy their day by wearing items with colorful combinations.
"zigzag" represents the trail of trial and error, encounters and interactions with many people when creating the work, as well as the work process that is completed by folding the ribbon and mixing (combining) colors.
人と違うものを身に着けたいという思いや色へのこだわりからモノづくりに取り組んできた自分にとって、 納得のいく表現方法との出会いがブランド設立のきっかけとなりました。
スタイリッシュで立体的な装身具が、実はかわいらしいイメージを持つ平面的なリボンから作られている面白さと驚きを感じてほしいという思いと、カラフルな組み合わせのアイテムを身に着けることで楽しい一日を過ごしてほしい、という願いから活動をスタートしました。
【zigzag】は、作品を生み出す時の試行錯誤、多くの人との出会いと交わりの軌跡、 さらにリボンを折りたたみ、色を交えて（組み合わせて）できあがる作品のスタイルを表しています。

1. Decide on a design

I decided to participate because I was interested in how it would look to foreign customers and how it would be evaluated.

This time, I created items based on the motif of "Japan". Please enjoy "Wearable Japan" while imagining the source of the inspiration. The size of the ring can be slightly adjusted due to the wire inside. The impression changes depending on the direction of the ring and the finger which you are wearing, so please try it out in various ways. Since it is made of ribbon, it is also popular among people with metal allergies.

今回は“日本”をモチーフに制作しました。着想元を想像しながら「身につける日本」をお楽しみください。 また、中にﾜｲﾔｰが入っているため多少のサイズ調整が可能です。上下・向きなど、はめる指によっても印象が変わるので、色々お試しください。 リボンでできているので金属アレルギーの方にも好評です。
