Q1. What Made You Decide To Establish Your Own Brand? What Is Meaning Of Brand Name?
ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
I first started making jewelry when I attended a bead accessory class and obtained certification as a bead accessory instructor.At that time, it was difficult to hold regular lessons due to child-centered living, so I began selling the accessories I made in my spare time online, which led me to my current activities.
The brand name "lis" means lily flower. In Japan, there is a saying that describes a beautiful woman: "She looks like grass peony (shakuyaku) when standing, peony (botan) when sitting, and white lily (yurino hana) when walking." That totally means she looks beautiful in every scene. I named the brand "lis" because I wanted to deliver jewelry that not only adds grace to women's appearance, but also to their mannerisms, their feelings, and everything else.
ビーズアクセサリーの教室に通い、認定講師資格を取得したことがきっかけです。当時は育児中心の生活によりレッスンの定期開催が難しく、隙間時間に製作したジュエリーをオンライン販売したことが今の活動に繋がります。
ブランド名の【lis】は百合の花を意味します。日本には美しい女性をたとえた「立てば芍薬、座れば牡丹、歩く姿は百合の花」という諺があります。女性の見た目だけでなく、所作や気持ち、全てに華を添えるようなジュエリーをお届けしたいと思い名付けました。

Due to the pandemic, there are fewer opportunities for foreign customers to see my brand. Therefore, I am interested to see how they would feel about my works.
